Základní informace o angličtině
Angličtinou mluví na celém světě okolo jedné miliardy lidí a to bez rozdílu ras, barvy kůže nebo věku. Například v Indii umí každý vysokoškolák perfektně anglicky.
Písmo, které je při psaní v angličtině používáno je latinka. Toto písmo používáme i my při psaní referátů v ruce. Pokud tě zajímá do jaké jazykové skupiny angličtina patří, jedná se o indoevropský jazyk, po upřesnění o germánský jazyk a když půjdeme opravdu do hloubky jde o západogermánský jazyk.
Odkud se angličtina vzala
V současné době se mluví anglicky v mnoha zemích po celé zeměkouli. Ale mateřským jazykem je jenom v několika zemích jako je Velká Británie, USA, Nový Zéland, Kanada nebo Austrálie. S angličtinou se však můžeme setkat i v jiných jazycích a to i jako úřední jazyk (jedná se o Indii nebo Jižní Afriku).
